SMART bar

SMART is designed for simulation and measurement in high-accuracy of rocking curves for crystal thickness. SMART is mainly coded in Java (openJDK21) and partially coded for PC with Microsoft Windows only. The main features of SMART are listed here,

  • User-Friendly Design: The software features a user-friendly graphic design and seamless integration of simulated and experimental parts.
  • Two-Beam CBED Simulation: SMART supports the simulation of two-beam CBED patterns, including the absorption effect.
  • Crystal Thickness Measurement: The software assists in measuring crystal thickness using experimental two-beam CBED patterns.
  • Region of Interest Selection: The software allows selecting a region of interest on the simulated and experimental CBED patterns and saving them in .tif, .png, .jpg, and .gif formats.
  • Publication-Ready Images: Users can prepare images with figure labels that are ready for publication.
